The Logmaster LM-CT3A is a unique product which safely combines all of the continuity testing properties of a voltmeter, ohmmeter, and “battery & buzzer” into an all in one handy circuit continuity tester. When used on a wide range of applications the  LM-CT3A’s high input impedance makes it much safer to use than multimeters, or buzzers, particularly on live circuits.
The Logmaster LM-CT3A is "always-on” and ready to use, drawing a low standby current from its easily accessible 9V alkaline battery. The High brightness RED LED, and piezo electric buzzer ensure that the output of a Logmaster LM-CT3A can be seen or heard from a shirt pocket, or across a room.

This lets the user focus on what connections they are making, not what the tester looks like!
The Logmaster LM-CT3A is exceptionally useful in several more complicate testing and trouble shooting applications, including transformers, relay contacts, and fuse checks. Please visit our web site or request more detailed application instructions or via Email, to review specific application instructions for more complicated continuity testing and circuit diagnosis.

Quick Start Instructions:

The Logmaster LM-CT3A is always “ON” and ready to use.
This tester is fuse protected and intended to be used on circuits of less than 300Vdc.
Calibration is not required unless the circuit under test is very long, or has a resistance greater than 51 ohms.
The Logmaster LM-CT-3A can be easily adjusted for use on circuits of up to 500 ohms.

Circuit UnderTest      LED and Audible Output
De-energized              Steady BEEP, and LED light
DC Circuit                  Same, but only in correct polarity
AC Circuit                  An “oscillating Warble” tone, LED flashes

Calibration
As the LM-CT3A’s battery voltage decreases with use, the tester may need to be adjusted.

1. Remove the Battery cover
2. Place the jumper onto the left two pins (adjust) position
3. Adjust the potentiometer until the tester begins to BEEP
4. Reinstall the jumper into the normal position for use.
